1. How do you pronounce the character's names in Perimeter Red?

I get this question a lot. I usually prefer that people pronounce the names the way they want to, but I also understand the need to get the "correct pronunciation" from the source. I've set up a short chart that includes a few of the harder names. This may get longer as we go :

2. How long did it take you to finish your first novel?

Technically, it took me about 2 years. I was working on it on and off during that time, and I also began a separate story on the side in addition to that. Hopefully, you'll see the time it takes me to complete a book go down. The sequel was completed in a marginally shorter time period.

3. Are there any more books in the Perimeter Red series?

As I mentioned above, there is currently a completed sequel that I am in the process of editing. Once that is finished, I plan to write one more book to add in to the beginning. Technically, this will be a 'prequel' that takes place before the original Perimeter Red book. I somehow ended writing these in "2,3,1" order, but I guess that's how it goes! In all, it will be a trilogy.

4. Are you working on any of the other books listed on the site?

Yes. As of June 2009, I am working on Perimeter Red Beginnings (the prequel), Space Race, and That Which I Desire. There is also an unnammed novel I am working on occasionally. All of these are coming along slowly, due to the fact that I am working on them all on and off, in addition to editing and working on publishing Daughter of Tarragon and Perimeter Red Book II (not to mention, keeping a day job and a social life!).
